Tamron has won his eleventh EISA Award in a row. As the Japanese lens maker notifies he received this year's award for the SP 85mm F / 1.8 Di VC USD (Model F016). That according to information world's first high-intensity full-frame DSLR lens with optical Image Stabilizer convinced as "Europe's DSLR lens 2016-2017".

The EISA jury wrote in their verdict that Tamron put the product new standards in terms of performance short telephoto lenses for portrait photography. The optical image stabilizer enables photographers with up to 3.5 stops slower shutter speeds than usual hand-held shooting.

The judges also highlight the 'low and extra-low "refractive glass lenses, which minimize chromatic aberration and barrel distortion. They praise the optical design, the "achieved perfect balance between the focus on the focal point and a gentle, natural-looking effect in the background" one.
